02/19/25 dream: I was watching this strange anime called “消鳥” which was sometimes stylized as “けしとり,”of which the events of the episode were a man in adventuring gear and a friendly red-beaked magical seagull traveling through a claymation world that resembling Paper Mario TTYD’s Petalburg. I can’t remember much about the plot, but what I did know is that it was a comedy, and they were trying to recruit some royal girl into their party for an adventure to a castle to defeat some huge lovecraftian monster. Their ultimate goal was to defeat the monster army and find a legendary treasure though. Another interesting twist of the show was the magical seagull’s special ability was the ability to caw in order to cast spells, as well as the adventuring guy having the power to sculpt or modify the claymation or paper elements in the landscape. The princess also had the powers of divination as well, and she would use them to send messages back to the legendary heroes of the land. As far as how the show looked, I thought that The show in general seemed kinda cute, and it had a paper Mario sort of aesthetic which I really digged. Unfortunately, I can’t remember much else about the characters in the show, as there was very little dialogue that wasn’t purely in Japanese. Luckily, the show used mostly visual storytelling, so even with my relatively low comprehension of Japanese, I was still fine. Anyway, I remember being captivated, sitting intently and watching the show, until I then had a sudden false awakening into the real world. Excited to wake up from the dream, I then began writing fervently in a dream journal for several pages of detail. After that, I then woke up for real because of Michael watching anime too loud. To which I was extremely confused upon waking up, and also forgetting detail that I had known prior in my false awakening. FIN. I awoke in an alright mood today, although I still had really bad allergies, so that wasn’t good to deal with.
